What this site is
Spin Route Book is a small, independent comparison site covering online casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission for the British market. We read the offer terms operators publish, grade them A to D against a fixed checklist, and write down what we found in plain English. The grades get re-checked roughly monthly because offers get rewritten quietly and often.
The site exists because the gap between a bonus banner and its terms page is where most disappointment in this hobby lives. Closing that gap doesn't take genius; it takes someone willing to read clause seventeen so you don't have to. We volunteered.
What this site is not
We are not a casino, a bookmaker or a regulator. We hold no gambling licence because we do no gambling: no games run on this site, no bets are taken, no player money is ever held or handled here. We are not owned by, or invested in, any operator we review. When you click through to a casino, everything from that moment is between you and them, under their UKGC licence.
How the lights stay on
Affiliate commission, fully and plainly. When a visitor opens an account through one of our links, the operator pays us a referral fee. It costs you nothing, it's flagged wherever it applies, and it buys precisely zero influence over grades — an operator has never seen a review before publication and there is no price at which a D becomes a B. You may reasonably ask whether a site paid by casinos can grade casinos honestly. Our answer is structural rather than rhetorical: the checklist is fixed before any review starts, the same criteria apply to every operator, and a comparison site that flattered everything would have no reason to be read.
