The mechanics, step by step
Spin Route Book is an independent comparison website funded by affiliate marketing. When you click a "Visit" button on our comparison, the link carries a tracking tag that tells the operator you came from us. If you then open an account, the operator pays us a commission — either a one-off fee for the referral or a small share of their revenue from your play, depending on the agreement.
Three things follow from that, and we'd rather say them than have you wonder:
- It costs you nothing. Prices, offers and terms are identical whether you arrive through our link or type the address yourself. The commission comes out of the operator's marketing budget, not your balance.
- It shapes which sites appear, not how they're graded. We generally list operators we have agreements with — that's how a comparison site sustains itself. But every listed operator faces the same fixed checklist, and the grades print whatever the checklist finds, including the C's and D's you can see on the homepage right now.
- It can't be traded. No operator sees a review before publication, none can pay for a better grade, and none can pay to have a poor one softened or removed. There is no rate card for opinion.
What we are, and are not
We are a reviews and comparison publisher. We are not a gambling operator: no games are hosted here, no bets accepted, no player funds touched. We hold no gambling licence because nothing we do requires one. Every operator we list holds its own licence from the Gambling Commission, and your relationship as a player — account, bets, bonuses, disputes — is with them, under their terms.
Why links look the way they do
Affiliate links on this site point directly at the operator's own website with a tracking parameter attached, and they're marked with rel="sponsored" so search engines treat them as the commercial links they are. We don't route clicks through third-party redirect chains. What we publish alongside those links — every grade, every note, every criticism — is editorial, written by us, and stays ours.
If something looks off
Offers change fast, and a description that was accurate at review time can drift. If you follow a link and find terms that don't match what we wrote, tell us — we re-check against the operator's live terms and correct the page. The date grades were last checked is shown on the homepage.
